Course Policies

Textbooks:

All of our textbooks are from China and are not readily available to the public. Therefore, all students will have to buy the text books from The Philadelphia Chinese Learning Center for our courses. These books and/or material prices are listed in the catalog course description. Please send the textbook fee together with your course fee.

Withdrawals/Cancellations:

If for any reason you cannot attend the course for which you have registered, you must submit a cancellation form before the first day of class to receive a full refund. After the first class, you may submit a withdrawal form and receive a 50% refund. No refunds are given after the second class meeting.

Please allow three weeks for processing. The refund will be sent only by check.

Reserves the right to Course Cancellations

Philadelphia Chinese Language Center reserves the right to cancel classes based on low enrollment or other related reasons.

Refunds

Refunds are given only if the Philadelphia Chinese Language Center cancels a course, and are issued by check.

Students

Students must be 18 years or older for adult courses, 8 years or older for the children's classes unless otherwise indicated.

Try a Class

You can buy a $19 guest pass on the starting date of a course of 3 or more sessions, provided space is available. The guest pass fee will be credited toward the tuition if you register for the course.
